Atelier Botanique, Partie 2

Quatre élèves de sixième ont mené un atelier botanique le vendredi 3 juin avec les CM2A et le jeudi 9 avec les CM2B. Ils les ont aidés à utiliser une clé d’identification d’arbres, créée par notre professeure de SVT, Pascale Portes. Neuf arbres de notre future forêt du Petit Prince comme le figuier, l’arbousier et le peuplier blanc ont été ainsi identifiés grâce à leurs feuilles.

What is about this second workshop ?

This second workshop is an identification key. It’s a descriptive card with different types of leaves : it helps you find the name of the tree. Then the students wrote a description of their tree leaves : are they simple or compound, opposite or alternate…?

Who knows if we are going to do a third workshop ? No, but the same workshop will be organised in English with the Year 7 students next week!
