Irish for a week

The 5A and 5B classes are back from their school trip to Ireland!
The pupils stayed in Irish families for five days, giving them great opportunities to learn about Irish culture and practice their English.
We were lucky to have lovely weather while visiting Glendalough in the Wicklow mountains, Howth -a fisherman’s village where some seals greeted us- and the beautiful botanical gardens. They also explored the city of Dublin, visited the Dublinia Museum, and toured Croke Park, stadium, home to Gaelic sports. One of the highlights of the trip was becoming « Irish for a Day » at Causey Farm.
